Your first surfboard.

Buying your first surfboard is something that you will remember for the rest of your life, hopefully for the right reasons!

If you have never been surfing before but would like to give it a go, I would recommend that you try hiring a board for a few days or even better take a course through a BSA (British Surfing Association) accredited surf school.

So you want to go surfing? You have your wetsuit, surfboard, wax and plenty of enthusiasm what else do you need? Mmmm…. Surfing is a dangerous sport, especially for beginners. Being out in the ocean with a 6ft surfboard is fun, but with this comes a certain amount of responsibility. You should always follow the rules of surfing etiquette and you should definitely invest in some form of Surfing insurance.
