There was nothing majorly wrong but I was periodically finding virus infections via Trend housecall that AVG free was missing. Hence the shortlived return back to Norton Anti Virus 2008. As mentioned previously I just can't live with Nortons bloatware and was thinking of testing out AVG Free version 8. Then I read this amazing review for AVG Free 8.0 and thought I would give it a whirl. I won't even attempt to review it here, but I have been using it for a few days and am happy so far! I have been having major issues with my Anti Virus as of late. I find that the likes of Norton hog far to many system resources for my liking. I have used AVG Free editions for years but became slightly disheartend with the 7.0 version releases.
