Become a surf instructor in Perth Western Australia, wow this would be a cool job to do... Shame I never took up surf lifesaving, I suppose there is more money in web design. This is good but, it does have moments of tedium and repetition.

The best job I ever had was working at the Trevelgue hotel (Sands resort now I think) in Cornwall when I was in my teens. Going surfing everyday, and hanging out (almost living in) Sailors in Newquay. The split shifts for service were awful, but the social aspect and the surfing was great! Well two kids and a wife later, it definetely looks as though I won't be applying for the job below. But if I were in my twenties again... things would be different :P

Two qualified surf instructors wanted to run western Australia's No 1 Surf Camp

Two friends or a couple - between the ages of 22 and 30 (to get an Aussie working visa) Must have at least 4 years surf coaching experience Must have surfed for at least 6 years with some experience in larger waves Time period - November 2008 till end of April / May 2009 (6 - 7 months work) 24 hour coaching per week each and a few surf camp duties - looking after guests, having a good time!! Pay rate $600 AUD per week + shared twin accommodation and all meals provided (Wednesday afternoon and Thursdays off) You won't need to spend much money as we will provide everything - great chance to save up to $15,000 to keep travelling! We prefer non-drinkers and non-smokers (a few drinks each night with the guests is ok) You will stay in our million dollar beach house across the road from the best learning beach in Western Australia.
