Just 20 years ago, who would of thought that surfing would become a mainstream sport right here in the UK? Our cold waters and bad weather don't exactly make the idea of going surfing an attractive one. But when the ocean does it's thing, and the weather comply's. A transformation of much of the UK's coast into scenes reminiscent of California rather than Britain takes place.

Surfing is a natural human response, think about it. If you are in the ocean and there are waves, I bet you try to swim with the waves, even dolphins do this!. When Cook discovered surfing in Tahiti and Hawaii in the 1770's he was discovering a human response to an island environment, waves are there for a reason ya know.
