XHTML - HTML in a X rated dress...Back in the early history of web design there was HTML, essentially HTML is the mortar that binds together the building blocks of web pages be it asp, php , css or whatever language you care to mention. If you wish to do anything in web design you will need to have a full grasp of HTML. Don't worry it's easy! Mmm I bet you have read that type of stuff before? well HTML 4.01 is actually deprecated these days and it is considered terribly bad form to use it on current web sites... oh my :). Here I come to save the dayThis is where XHTML comes in to play, "but it's just XHTML with an 'X'..." Well thats true, XHTML is very similar to html but with a few slight differences. Xtensible Hypertext Markup Language or XHTML for short, is not actually a computer language in the traditional sense, it is not compiled in the same way as say C++ . and it is not used to perform advanced calculations or to operate web applications. It is simply the glue that provides the structure for a great percentage of websites currently on the web. This artcicle is currently being edited and will return shortly...
