Round 4 of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast presented by Land Rover has been called ON today with the opening heat hitting the water at 7:30am. The solid conditions on offer this morning could potentially see a winner crowned by day’s end.
The opening event of the 2010 ASP World Tour season, the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast awoke to pumping three-to-five foot (1 - 1.5 metre) waves running down the point at Snapper Rocks this morning, prompting event organizers to call men's Round 4 on while placing the women’s Round 4 on hold.

Dream tour 2010, let the fun begin
Round 1 of the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast presented by Land Rover has been called ON this morning, with the first heat hitting the water in clean two-to-three foot (1 metre) waves at Snapper Rocks at 8:30am.
The opening event of the 2010 ASP World Tour season, the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast will turn on the world's best surfers in the world's best waves this morning, taking advantage of the swell on offer for what has been termed, "the greatest assemblage of surfing talent in history."

April Kicks off in style...
It has been an action-packed month of April around the world with no less than one ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS) 4-Star, two 6-Star and two 6-Star Prime rated events putting the international ratings upside down and kicking-off another race that promises to bring world class level this year again.
